Club Run - Sunday, 4th February 2007
Rob, Si, Guy, Mark B, Gordon and Damian at Winnards on a chilly morning but with the promise of it warming up later.
After a slight navigational slip-up we went on our way through St Newlyn East, St Allen and Idless Woods to Truro. At this point Damien's gears started playing up and with some serious hills to come he was going to pay heavily.
Up the A390 to Chiverton Cross towards St Agnes, via an al fresco cafe stop at Chapel Porth making the most of the sea view and pretending it was summer!
The climb out of Chapel Porth finally put paid to Damian whilst the rest of us carried on along the coast road to Perranporth, Cubert and Crantock, through Trevemper and back to Winnards Perch.
The best ride of the winter so far - 60 miles Winnards to Winnards.
